Where to start
Discovery & Assessment
Four weeks from stated ambition to a validated, prioritized roadmap.
For organizations that have set targets — and hold several candidate initiatives — but have no agreed, evidence-tested plan for which moves to make first. A facilitated alignment session, findings validated against your own data, an assessment that separates root causes from symptoms, and one portfolio-level roadmap with explicit start, stop, and no-go recommendations.
What you receive
- A facilitated half-day outcome-alignment session with your leadership, closed by a written Outcome Alignment Memo of no more than 3 pages
- Your working hypotheses tested against your own records — every finding classified validated, partially validated, or unresolved, with its evidence basis stated, in a Findings Document of no more than 10 pages
- Where a figure is unavailable or methodologically unusable, it is recorded as a flagged gap — never estimated around
- An Assessment Document of no more than 8 pages: root causes separated from symptoms, constraints ranked by materiality, and the approval paths each initiative requires named
- One Prioritized Portfolio Roadmap of no more than 15 pages — initiatives sequenced by impact, effort, and dependency, with explicit start, stop, and no-go criteria, presented to leadership in a 60–90 minute session with one consolidated revision cycle
- Four weeks means 20 business days of Consultant working time — your review windows and any client-caused delays extend elapsed time day-for-day without consuming scope
What it is not
- No implementation of any recommendation — that is scoped and priced under a separate Statement of Work, and neither party is obligated to proceed to one
- No forecasting, market-sizing, or financial modeling beyond lightweight indicative funnel logic for the top one or two initiatives
- No new channel, paid-media, or demand-generation audits inside this engagement
- No guaranteed outcome on any metric — advisory work informs decisions; it does not by itself move numbers
- One framed consequential question is a Decision Brief, not a Discovery — and the scoping conversation will say so
Read this honestly
An internal strategy offsite carries no external fee, and a competent one covers some of this ground; what it may lack is independent outside-in evidence and the explicit discipline of unresolved-gap flagging. $5,000 matches the public floor of this menu deliberately — the entry engagement exists so the first commitment can be small, bounded, and checkable. If what you actually need is one framed question answered at depth, that is a Decision Brief.
